Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner FAQs

I/my guest has a disability – do you need to know?

Yes. Please let us know in advance. We can then make arrangements to accommodate most requests as long as we know your requirements beforehand.   Please provide brief details as part of the registration process and we will contact you to discuss your needs further. It will be difficult to make arrangements on the day of the Ceremony.

Do you cater for all dietary requirements?

Our menu will have a vegetarian and a meat option. If you have significantly different dietary requirements, please let us know at registration so that we can liaise with the hotel on this. Dietary requests on the day will not be accommodated.

What is the full address of the awards venue?

The Mayfair Hotel, Stratton St, Mayfair, London W1J 8LT

How do I get to the hotel?

The nearest underground station is Green Park on the Piccadilly, Victoria and Jubilee lines. The Piccadilly line provides a direct link to Heathrow Airport.   Buses & Taxis. Buses stop minutes away from the hotel. Taxis are available directly outside and limousines or private car hire are available via the Concierge. Fast track trains can be used for a quicker journey to and from the following airports into London:

  • Heathrow Express from Paddington Station. Journey time takes approximately 15 minutes.
  • Gatwick Airport Express from Victoria Station. Journey time takes approximately 30 minutes.

Can guests take photos during the Ceremony?

Yes. Guests are able to take discreet photographs during the Ceremonies. Guests will need to remain seated; there is no space for tripods within the Ceremony venue.

Will there be an official photographer at the event?

Yes. A photography company will take photographs of delegates at the ceremony at the red carpet as well as throughout the event.

Do I need a ticket to attend the Ceremony and Gala Dinner?

All guest will receive a copy of their ticket via post at least 7 days before the awards ceremony and gala dinner.

Do my guests need a ticket to attend the Ceremony?

Yes. Your guests must hold a valid ticket to attend the Ceremony and Gala Dinner. Entrance is strictly limited to ticket holders only. Please note, there is no overflow area for guests without tickets.

How long does the actual ceremony last?

The ceremony will start at 18:30 and will end just before midnight. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to locate parking and to register.

What happens on the day of the ceremony?

We will start the evening with a drinks reception whilst red carpet photos are being taken

What is the dress code for the awards evening?

Black Tie

What happens if I have purchased a ticket but am unable to attend?

We are happy for you to offer your ticket to a colleague, but unfortunately all booked tickets are non-refundable. In the event of a change, please email the new attendee’s details to info@leadershipawards.org.uk as soon as possible.

Are you supporting any charity this year?

Yes. Our chosen charity for this year is Regenerate Rise, a charity that supports the isolated elderly across London. We will be drawing a raffle and all proceeds will go this this charity.

Do I have to pay for drinks

All delegates will get a complimentary drink on arrival, unlimited supply of still and sparkling water, up to half a bottle of wine per delegate. For any additional drinks, a cash bar will be available.
